For an artist, space is an integral part of giving birth to any masterpiece. After all, as contemporary artist Frank Stella puts it, the aim of art itself is to create space — space that is not compromised by decoration or illustration, but space within which the subjects of the artwork can live.

In this stance lies the week-long art exhibition in Sky Villas Showroom at One Balete, New Manila. Entitled “Vitalitá: Art Promenade at Sky Villas,” the exhibit aims to celebrate life, change and rebirth with the works of renowned artists Cecil Go, Eugene Cubillo and Sam Penaso.
